About the Conference

A Platform for Advancing Radiation Oncology

AROKSCON 2026 is the flagship annual academic meeting of the Association of Radiation Oncologists of Karnataka (AROK), bringing together radiation oncologists, medical physicists, residents, and oncology professionals from across Karnataka and neighbouring regions.

The conference serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, clinical learning, and professional collaboration in radiation oncology. Through expert-led scientific sessions, focused discussions, and interactive workshops, the program aims to address both emerging innovations and practical challenges encountered in everyday radiotherapy practice.

AROKSCON also provides an important opportunity for young oncologists and trainees to present research, engage with experienced faculty, and participate in meaningful academic dialogue, strengthening the oncology community within the region.

Established in 1963, JNMC is one of the premier medical institutions in North Karnataka and a constituent institution of the KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER).

The institution is widely recognized for its commitment to medical education, postgraduate training, and clinical research, supported by advanced healthcare infrastructure and experienced faculty across multiple specialties.

The Department of Radiation Oncology functions at the KLE Sampatkumar S. Shivanagi Cancer Hospital, a 300-bed comprehensive cancer care centre equipped with modern radiotherapy facilities and multidisciplinary oncology services. The centre serves as an important regional hub for cancer treatment, training, and research in North Karnataka.
